Mountain systems of the Aosta Valley have sketched a natural skyline where 4 peaks are easily recognised: Mont-Blanc, Mount Cervino or Matterhorn, Mount Rosa and Mount Gran Paradiso. There are many breath-taking natural landscapes, such as those of the Comboé Basin or the Valleys of Saint-Barthélemy. And then of course there are lakes, nature reserves and many castles ans ruins to visit. The Aosta Valley is worth seeing at every season: summer is the ideal season for walks and for trekking and the Pila ski resort offers a great ski day in winter.
